Waterfront Service
The Silver Line Waterfront service operates via a newly constructed tunnel and bus lane connecting South station to two new underground stations (at the J. Joseph Moakley Federal Courthouse and at the World Trade Center) and one surface stop east of D Street (Silver Line Way). After the stop at Silver Line Way, the routes branch off:
- SL1: Logan Airport, and stops at all terminals
- SL2: Boston Marine Industrial Park.
- SL3: City Point and residential South Boston.
The Silver Line Waterfront's underground stations (South Station, Courthouse, and World Trade Center) feature elevators, escalators, TTY's, and electronic message boards along with artwork and seating.
The Silver Line lets you off at the corner of Tide and Northern Ave. Go left toward the Boston Harbor. Take a right at the end of Tide and follow until you see the Au Bon Pain sign on your right.
From Logan by public transportation:
The Silver Line's route SL1 (Logan Airport - South Station via Waterfront) bus rapid transit service available at Boston Logan, is your best direct connection to and from South Station, (Red Line subway and South Shore / Metro West commuter rail services). From South Station take the Silver Line SL2. With drop off and pick up in front of Logan terminals. The Silver Line SL1 runs from approximately 5:30AM to 12:30AM every day of the week
